Easy Fresh Peppermint Tea
fresh mint leaves, peppermint, or spearmint
Optional: 2 tsp sugar
(or honey; start with about 1 tsp per cup and add more as desired)
Optional: lemon slices
Optional: lemon juice
Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
Remove from heat and add mint leaves.
Steep 3-5 minutes, depending on the desired strength.
Add optional sweeter, such as honey, as desired.
If serving iced, fill tall glasses with ice and pour the tea over.
If serving hot, pour the tea into mugs.
Garnish with optional lemon slices and/or lemon juice to taste.
