Spinach Puree For Babies

  • 2 c fresh spinach leaves packed
  • ½ c water
  • 6 apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • tsp nutmeg


  • In a medium saucepan, over medium-high heat, add apples, water, and spices.
  • Cook for 15 minutes or until apples are tender.
  • Add spinach leaves, and cook until spinach is wilted (about 2 minutes).
  • Add ingredients to the food processor, and puree until smooth (about 1-2 minutes).


Store in freezer up to 1 month.
Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
Serve slightly warmed.
